Position Summary

Mila is seeking a talented Full Stack Software Developer to work on misinformation mitigation projects. In this role, you'll design and build web applications, APIs, and data pipelines that support research into identifying and understanding misinformation. You'll collaborate with researchers, engineers, and domain experts to translate complex requirements into scalable, maintainable software solutions. This is a temporary position offering hands-on experience in both frontend and backend development within a leading AI research environment.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Develop full-stack web applications and services for misinformation detection and analysis systems
  • Design and implement backend APIs using modern frameworks and databases
  • Build responsive, intuitive user interfaces for researchers and end users
  • Work with large datasets, implementing data processing pipelines and database solutions
  • Collaborate with machine learning researchers to integrate models into production systems
  • Write clean, well-tested code and participate in code reviews
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize application performance

Requirements
