NIKE is seeking a Lead Designer for Global Football Accessories to drive the visual identity and design excellence of its football accessory line. Based in West Slope, Oregon, this full-time position offers the opportunity to shape how athletes and fans experience football worldwide through thoughtful graphic design across a diverse range of products.
The Opportunity
Design sits at the heart of NIKE's mission to move the world forward through sport. In this role, you'll partner with a global team to define the aesthetic and functional design direction for football accessories ranging from balls to bags and beyond. You'll work across multiple platforms and product categories, solving complex design challenges that balance brand consistency with category-specific needs. Your Responsibilities
- Develop original graphic designs for football accessory products, ensuring visual cohesion across the NIKE portfolio
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to translate business needs into compelling visual solutions
- Create designs for multiple product types—balls, bags, apparel accessories, and more—across various applications and materials
- Conduct research and present design concepts that reflect current market trends and athlete feedback
- Refine designs through iteration, incorporating feedback and maintaining design integrity throughout the development process
- Work alongside global stakeholders to ensure designs resonate with international audiences and regional preferences
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven expertise in graphic design with a strong portfolio demonstrating creative work across multiple formats and platforms
- Advanced proficiency in industry-standard design software and tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to balance aesthetics, functionality, and brand guidelines
- Genuine passion for sports, athletics, and the role design plays in the athlete experience
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and adapt to feedback constructively
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail in all deliverables
