About This Position

We're seeking dedicated professionals to support our students during two critical periods of the school day: lunch and outdoor recreation. In this dual-role position, you'll create structured, welcoming environments where students learn to interact respectfully, develop physical skills, and recharge between academic periods. You'll work alongside our school team to ensure every student feels safe, included, and encouraged to participate fully.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise students in the cafeteria during meal periods, fostering a calm and orderly atmosphere conducive to eating and social interaction
• Monitor playground activities, enforce safety protocols, and intervene promptly in conflicts or unsafe behavior
• Facilitate age-appropriate games, physical activities, and group interactions that build community among students
• Assist with food service tasks, including setup, distribution, and cleanup in the lunchroom
• Support students with special needs and help create an inclusive environment for all learners
• Report safety concerns and behavioral issues to classroom teachers and administrators
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in both the cafeteria and playground areas

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to supervise and communicate effectively with school-age children
• Strong commitment to student safety and positive behavior management
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and supervise active students for extended periods
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Willingness to support school policies and work collaboratively with staff
