HSE Specialist

Insight Global is hiring a full-time, onsite HSE Specialist to join a growing team in Carrollton, Denton County, TX — a bilingual opportunity for a safety professional who thrives in the field and is passionate about protecting workers every single day.

About the Role

As an HSE Specialist with Insight Global in Carrollton, you will serve as the frontline champion for health, safety, and environmental compliance across active job sites. This is a fully onsite position requiring fluency in both English and Spanish, allowing you to communicate directly and effectively with a diverse workforce. The base salary for this role is $85,000 annually.

What You'll Do

• Conduct regular field visits to job sites throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area to identify, document, and remediate potential safety hazards
• Deliver safety training sessions and toolbox talks in both English and Spanish to ensure all workers understand proper procedures and personal protective equipment requirements
• Audit site operations for compliance with OSHA standards, EPA guidelines, and all applicable federal, state, and local health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Investigate incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions; document findings and drive corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Lead new-hire safety orientations and maintain accurate training records and compliance documentation
• Partner with site supervisors and project managers to build a proactive safety culture and implement company-wide HSE programs
• Prepare and submit required safety reports, inspection logs, and regulatory filings on schedule
• Support emergency response planning and coordinate drills to ensure site readiness

What We're Looking For

• Full professional bilingual fluency in English and Spanish — required, not preferred
• Demonstrated experience in a health, safety, or environmental role, ideally within construction, manufacturing, or an industrial environment
• Solid working knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 (construction) and/or 1910 (general industry) standards
• OSHA 30-Hour certification or equivalent credential strongly preferred
• Proven ability to conduct engaging, accessible safety training for diverse audiences
• Strong observation skills and the judgment to escalate hazards quickly and clearly
• Comfortable working onsite in Carrollton and the surrounding Denton County area daily — this is not a remote or hybrid role
