What You'll Do

• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, tea, and other café beverages with consistency and care
• Greet customers warmly, take orders, and recommend beverages and food items based on preferences
• Operate and maintain espresso machines and café equipment, keeping everything clean and functioning properly
• Handle food preparation, including pastries and snacks, following all health and safety standards
• Process payments accurately and manage the point-of-sale system
• Maintain a clean, organized café environment throughout your shift
• Support the broader bookstore team to create a cohesive customer experience

Requirements

• Experience as a Barista or in a similar customer-facing café role (preferred but not required for enthusiastic learners)
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive manual tasks
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliability and punctuality
• Willingness to learn and genuine enthusiasm for beverage craft
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment
