Production Scheduler

Join Toledo Tool And Die Co as a Production Scheduler and help coordinate manufacturing operations across our facilities in Toledo, Lucas County. This is a full-time position where you'll manage production workflows, optimize schedules, and ensure on-time delivery for customers throughout Ohio and Michigan.

The Opportunity

Toledo Tool And Die Co is seeking a Production Scheduler to oversee our manufacturing schedule and keep operations running smoothly. With four facilities across the Toledo area, we need an organized, proactive scheduler who can prioritize work orders, coordinate across teams, and adapt quickly when priorities shift. You'll work directly with production supervisors, sales teams, and customers to balance delivery commitments with realistic production capacity. Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Create and maintain production schedules for all work orders and manufacturing runs across assigned facilities
• Prioritize jobs based on customer deadlines, material readiness, and production capacity
• Communicate with production supervisors and equipment operators to confirm schedule feasibility and manage real-time updates
• Track progress against schedules and make adjustments to address delays or bottlenecks
• Coordinate with sales and customer service to provide accurate delivery estimates and status updates
• Monitor material and inventory status to optimize production flow and reduce idle time
• Use production planning software to manage orders and maintain scheduling accuracy
• Identify process inefficiencies and suggest improvements to management

Who We're Looking For

• Prior experience in production scheduling, manufacturing planning, or related operations role
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple complex schedules
• Comfort with scheduling, ERP, or manufacturing software systems
• Clear written and verbal communication for coordinating across teams and with customers
• Analytical, solution-focused mindset to troubleshoot scheduling conflicts
• Attention to detail in tracking orders, dates, and production data
• Experience in tool and die, precision manufacturing, or similar environments preferred
