Shift Lead

Walgreens is hiring a full-time Shift Lead for our Leesburg location in Lake County. If you're ready to lead during peak hours, manage critical store operations, and keep our pharmacy running smoothly, this role is for you.

The Opportunity

As a Shift Lead at our Leesburg pharmacy, you'll step into a leadership position that directly impacts your store's success. You'll own the opening and closing of our store, manage essential systems and cash operations, and ensure your team and customers experience a well-run, organized location. This is your platform to demonstrate leadership in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in the absence of store management, including all required system startups and procedures
• Manage cash handling duties: processing cash drops to the safe, providing change to customers, and maintaining accuracy in all transactions
• Maintain the sales floor and stockroom in ready condition for daily operations
• Receive store deliveries and manage back-door access and shipment verification
• Process product returns, order corrections, and customer refunds with precision
• Support and lead your team through busy periods and transitions

Who We're Looking For

• Retail or customer service experience, ideally in pharmacy or healthcare
• Strong cash handling skills and meticulous attention to financial accuracy
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and stay composed under pressure
• Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic
• Genuine customer service orientation and collaborative team attitude
• Familiarity with retail management systems and point-of-sale equipment
