The Opportunity

You'll take ownership of a mission-critical Azure infrastructure platform that powers proprietary AI models and GPU-accelerated compute workloads in a healthcare environment. This role combines strategic architecture with hands-on execution, demanding exceptional reliability, security, and cost efficiency. You'll partner with data engineers, ML teams, and clinical stakeholders to build infrastructure that scales intelligently while meeting rigorous healthcare compliance standards.

Core Duties

• Design, provision, and maintain Azure infrastructure supporting high-performance AI and machine learning workloads, including GPU compute clusters
• Architect secure, resilient, and cost-optimized cloud environments that satisfy healthcare industry regulations and data protection requirements
• Implement infrastructure as code practices, automated deployment pipelines, and observability systems to ensure reliability and rapid incident response
• Collaborate with platform, data science, and security teams to optimize system performance, manage capacity, and resolve infrastructure challenges
• Establish and maintain security controls, backup strategies, and disaster recovery procedures for mission-critical applications

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional cloud infrastructure experience with demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Azure
• Strong background designing and deploying large-scale, highly available systems
• Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools and containerization technologies
• Solid understanding of cloud security principles, identity management, and compliance frameworks
• Experience supporting AI/ML workloads or GPU compute environments is a strong plus
• Knowledge of healthcare data security standards and compliance requirements preferred
