Prominence Advisors is seeking a full-time Epic Ambulatory Project Manager to join our team in the United States. In this role, you'll drive transformational improvements for healthcare organizations by directing complex Epic ambulatory implementations and optimizations while solving critical workflow challenges.
What This Role Involves
As an Epic Ambulatory Project Manager, you'll be at the center of delivering healthcare technology solutions that directly impact patient care delivery and operational efficiency. Your expertise in Epic systems and project management will help healthcare organizations modernize their ambulatory environments, streamline clinical workflows, and maximize their technology investments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee Epic ambulatory implementations and optimization projects from planning through go-live and post-implementation support
- Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource schedules while managing stakeholder expectations across clinical and administrative teams
- Coordinate with healthcare IT teams, clinical staff, and Epic specialists to identify requirements, design solutions, and drive process improvements
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to ensure staff adoption and competency with Epic ambulatory applications
- Identify and resolve project risks, issues, and scope challenges to keep initiatives on track and within budget
- Document processes, create project documentation, and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders throughout project lifecycle
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience managing Epic ambulatory implementations or major optimization initiatives
- Strong understanding of Epic ambulatory modules, configuration, and best practices
- Demonstrated project management expertise with complex healthcare technology initiatives
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and drive meaningful change in healthcare environments
- Healthcare industry knowledge and understanding of ambulatory workflow and clinical operations
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
