Position Summary

As Principal Director, you'll own executive relationships with major clients across downstream operations, fuel retail networks, and mobility-connected convenience commerce. You'll shape multi-million-dollar transformation programs that modernize supply chains, optimize customer experiences, and unlock new revenue streams through digital innovation. This role combines deep client stewardship, commercial leadership, and hands-on consulting expertise—directing the vision and strategy while guiding cross-functional teams through complex, high-impact delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and expand strategic client relationships, identifying growth opportunities and securing new work within your account portfolio
• Direct end-to-end delivery of large-scale digital transformation programs, including supply chain optimization, point-of-sale modernization, and customer analytics initiatives
• Build and mentor senior consulting teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous development
• Develop solutions that address critical industry challenges: fuel retail consolidation, EV infrastructure integration, omnichannel convenience experiences, and regulatory compliance
• Own P&L accountability for assigned accounts, managing profitability, resource allocation, and margin improvement
• Partner with Accenture's broader ecosystem—technology partners, industry platforms, and ecosystem players—to deliver integrated solutions

What You Bring

• 15+ years of professional services, management consulting, or energy and retail industry experience
• Proven track record leading large, complex client engagements with measurable business impact
• Deep expertise in downstream energy operations, convenience retail, fuel logistics, or related segments
• Strong commercial acumen: ability to scope work, estimate costs, and grow account value
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams across multiple geographies or disciplines
• Excellent communication and executive presence; ability to influence C-suite stakeholders and navigate complex organizational dynamics
