EY is seeking an experienced SAP Production Planning (PP) manager to lead manufacturing consulting engagements in Druid, Baltimore. About This Position

As a SAP Production Planning manager in our consulting practice, you'll own the design, implementation, and optimization of production planning solutions for clients across industries. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with client-facing leadership—you'll architect SAP PP module strategies that directly impact how manufacturers forecast demand, schedule production, and manage discrete manufacturing workflows. You'll work with diverse client teams to translate business requirements into efficient, scalable SAP configurations that enhance on-time delivery and reduce waste.

What You'll Do

• Lead SAP Production Planning (PP) implementations and optimization projects for enterprise discrete manufacturing clients
• Design master data structures, bill of materials (BOM), routings, and demand forecasting configurations within SAP
• Establish production scheduling strategies and planning hierarchies aligned with manufacturing operations and business goals
• Guide cross-functional teams through system testing, cutover planning, and go-live execution
• Troubleshoot production planning challenges and recommend continuous improvement opportunities
• Mentor junior consultants and build internal SAP PP expertise within the team
• Serve as trusted adviser to clients on manufacturing best practices and SAP process optimization

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Production Planning (PP) module in discrete manufacturing environments
• Proven track record leading SAP implementations, upgrades, or large-scale optimization projects
• Deep knowledge of demand planning, master production scheduling (MPS), and material requirements planning (MRP) concepts
• Strong consulting or client-facing delivery experience with ability to communicate complex technical concepts to business stakeholders
• Experience with SAP modules including Materials Management (MM) and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes
• Ability to manage multiple client engagements, prioritize competing demands, and deliver on aggressive timelines
• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, manufacturing, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
