Sales Floor Manager (Houma, LA)

Join Goodwill Industries Of Southeastern Louisiana as a Sales Floor Manager in Bayou Blue, Terrebonne Parish. We're seeking an experienced leader to oversee retail floor operations and drive sales performance at our Houma, LA location in a full-time role.

What This Role Involves

As Sales Floor Manager with Goodwill Industries Of Southeastern Louisiana, you'll take the lead on daily retail operations at our Houma, LA sales floor in Bayou Blue. You'll supervise a dedicated team of sales associates and floor leads responsible for the continuous processing, organization, and sale of high-volume donated inventory. Your leadership will directly shape customer experience and generate revenue through efficient management of donated clothing, furniture, and household goods, making this a key position in our retail operations.

Core Duties

• Supervise sales floor leads and sales associates to achieve daily sales and processing targets
• Direct the daily workflow of rotating, organizing, pricing, and displaying donated merchandise
• Manage high-volume inventory of clothing, furniture, and household items to maximize sales and floor efficiency
• Monitor team productivity, customer service quality, and compliance with store operating standards
• Train and develop sales team members on customer service, product knowledge, and floor procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe retail sales environment for customers and staff
• Collaborate with store management on revenue targets, inventory forecasting, and sales initiatives
• Address operational challenges and drive continuous improvement on the sales floor

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven retail or floor management experience, ideally in a high-volume or warehouse-style retail setting
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams toward sales and performance goals
• Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
• Experience managing donated goods, inventory rotation, or merchandise-intensive operations
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and assist with moving and handling merchandise
• Reliable attendance and commitment to full-time employment
