About the Role

This is a full-time travel nursing assignment specializing in labor and delivery care. You'll work 36 hours per week on night shifts, providing direct patient care during one of life's most important moments. The position runs for 13 weeks beginning July 27, 2026, and is ideal for RNs seeking temporary placements with competitive compensation and the flexibility to work across different facilities.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum nursing care to laboring patients
• Monitor fetal heart rate, maternal vital signs, and labor progression using electronic fetal monitoring and clinical assessment
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe delivery outcomes
• Educate patients and families on labor processes, pain management options, and postpartum recovery
• Maintain accurate, timely medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations
• Respond to emergent situations with clinical judgment and adherence to hospital protocols

Who We're Looking For

• Current RN license in Virginia or ability to obtain one
• Minimum 2 years of recent labor and delivery nursing experience
• BLS and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced environments
