Anesthesiology Physician

AMN Healthcare is seeking a full-time Anesthesiology Physician for our Leawood, Johnson County facility. This locum tenens role offers a predictable schedule, competitive compensation, and the opportunity to join a collaborative clinical team.

About This Position

We're filling an immediate anesthesiology staffing need at our Leawood location. This full-time position features Monday through Friday scheduling with 8-hour shifts, typically from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and guarantees a minimum of 40 hours per week. Compensation ranges from $315.25 to $341.25 per hour. The role is available to start as soon as possible.

What You'll Do

• Deliver comprehensive anesthetic care for a wide range of surgical procedures
• Conduct detailed pre-operative assessments and patient medical evaluations
• Monitor patient vital signs and safety throughout anesthetic administration
• Manage post-operative patient recovery and care coordination
• Partner with surgical teams and clinical nursing staff to optimize patient outcomes
• Document anesthetic records accurately and maintain clinical compliance

Who We're Looking For

• MD or DO with current, unrestricted anesthesiology licensure in Kansas
• Board certification or board eligibility in anesthesiology
• Active DEA registration
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork capabilities
• Commitment to patient safety and clinical best practices
