Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse

Position Summary

As a Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse, you'll deliver direct patient care on a dynamic med-surg unit, working 36 hours per week across 12-hour shifts starting July 20, 2026. Core Duties

• Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, and respond promptly to changes in patient status
• Administer medications and manage intravenous therapies according to clinical protocols
• Perform wound care, dressing changes, and post-operative patient management
• Prepare patients for surgical procedures and support post-operative recovery
• Educate patients and families about their condition, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic health record
• Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, and the nursing team to optimize patient outcomes
• Apply critical thinking and clinical judgment to provide safe, compassionate patient-centered care

Skills & Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin
• Demonstrated experience in medical-surgical nursing or acute care environments
• Proficiency with electronic health records and clinical documentation systems
