Secunetics is seeking a Network Architect for our Reston, Fairfax County office. This is a full-time position where you'll design and optimize network infrastructure solutions for government agencies and commercial enterprises.
What This Role Involves
As a Network Architect at Secunetics, you'll design, plan, and evaluate network infrastructures that support critical operations for our clients. You'll conduct infrastructure assessments, establish performance baselines, and identify opportunities for enhancement and optimization. Your technical expertise will shape how organizations architect their network environments to meet evolving business needs.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Design network architectures and infrastructure solutions aligned with client requirements and strategic objectives
- Assess existing network environments and document current performance, capacity, and capabilities
- Identify optimization opportunities and develop comprehensive improvement strategies
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business challenges into scalable technical designs
- Provide architectural guidance on network performance, resilience, and security considerations
- Document designs, configurations, and recommendations for client and team review
