2026 – 2027 Elementary Gifted Teacher

Join I3 Academy as an Elementary Gifted Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. We're seeking a dedicated educator to lead advanced learners through a dynamic, enrichment-focused curriculum designed to challenge and inspire high-achieving elementary students.

Position Summary

This full-time teaching position begins July 1, 2026. You'll design and deliver specialized instruction tailored to the needs of gifted elementary learners, fostering academic growth in reading, mathematics, science, and humanities while nurturing critical thinking, creativity, and intellectual curiosity. Working in a collaborative school environment, you'll implement best practices grounded in current curriculum standards and differentiated instruction to support each student's unique learning profile.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with standards for gifted learners across core subject areas
• Use formative and summative assessment data to monitor progress and adapt instruction for individual learners
• Implement differentiated learning strategies, including enrichment projects, advanced problem-solving, and cross-curricular connections
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, specialists, and families to support student success both academically and socially
• Create an inclusive, intellectually stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independent thinking
• Contribute to school culture and professional learning communities that advance best instructional practice

Who We're Looking For

• Valid state teaching credential or qualification in elementary education and/or gifted endorsement (or eligibility to obtain)
• Demonstrated expertise in teaching advanced learners and differentiating instruction
• Strong knowledge of curriculum standards and evidence-based instructional strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students, families, and colleagues
• Commitment to creating an affirming, equitable learning environment where all gifted students can thrive
• Passion for academic excellence and student-centered teaching
