Paver Operator

AA Asphalting, LLC is hiring a Paver Operator to join our team in Maltby, Snohomish County. About This Position

The Paver Operator role is essential to our daily operations across Washington and Oregon. You'll operate asphalt paving equipment on commercial, municipal, and utility-scale projects, ensuring precision and consistency that meet our exacting standards. This full-time position puts you at the center of critical infrastructure work serving government agencies, public utilities, general contractors, and major businesses throughout the region.

Core Duties

• Operate and maintain asphalt paving machines on active job sites
• Monitor material flow, temperature, and compaction during paving operations
• Coordinate with crew members to ensure seamless equipment positioning and workflow
• Inspect equipment daily for mechanical issues and report maintenance needs
• Follow safety protocols and OSHA guidelines on all construction sites
• Adjust paver settings to maintain specified grade, slope, and thickness

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Experience operating asphalt paving equipment or willingness to train on the job
• Ability to read construction plans and grade specifications
• Physical capability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a crew
• Commitment to safety and attention to detail
