Key Private Bank Wealth Planner

KeyBank is hiring a Wealth Planner for our Key Private Bank team in Elkhart, Indiana. This is a full-time, on-site position working from our location at 300 Nibco Parkway. You'll be central to delivering comprehensive financial planning services to high-net-worth clients and building long-term wealth management relationships.

About the Role

As a Wealth Planner with KeyBank's Key Private Bank division, you'll help affluent clients and prospects achieve their financial goals through thoughtful, personalized planning strategies. Working alongside our Relationship Managers in the Elkhart market, you'll identify opportunities to expand planning services, strengthen client partnerships, and attract new business to the bank.

What You'll Do

• Develop customized financial plans addressing wealth preservation, tax efficiency, estate planning, and investment strategy for high-net-worth individuals and families
• Conduct comprehensive financial reviews and discovery meetings to understand client objectives, risk tolerance, and life circumstances
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers to integrate planning recommendations into broader wealth management services
• Identify and pursue opportunities to deepen client engagement through expanded planning services and advisory relationships
• Support new business development by providing planning insights to prospects and demonstrating KeyBank's expertise in wealth planning
• Prepare detailed financial plans and recommendations, clearly communicating complex financial concepts to clients
• Maintain organized client records and follow regulatory and compliance standards for all planning activities

What We're Looking For

• Certification as a CFP®, CFA®, or equivalent financial planning credential
• 3+ years of experience in wealth planning, financial advisory, or related client-facing financial services
• Strong understanding of comprehensive financial planning principles, investment products, and tax-efficient strategies
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain financial concepts clearly to diverse clients
• Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships in a relationship-managed environment
• Detail-oriented approach to financial analysis and plan development
• Commitment to ethical practices and compliance with financial industry regulations
