Quality Test Technologist (2nd shift)

Schneider Electric is hiring a Quality Test Technologist (2nd shift) at our manufacturing facility in Village of Indian Springs, Butler County. This is a full-time position where you'll ensure our products meet rigorous quality standards through hands-on testing, inspection, and process verification.

What This Role Involves

As a Quality Test Technologist on the second shift, you'll be the frontline guardian of product quality and safety. You'll operate specialized testing equipment, perform inspections at critical manufacturing stages, and document results with precision. Your work directly impacts the reliability of Schneider Electric products used across industrial and commercial applications worldwide. This role combines technical troubleshooting with attention to detail—identifying issues early, collaborating with operators and engineers to solve them, and driving continuous improvement on the production line.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Execute standardized testing protocols on manufactured components and assemblies using calibrated equipment
• Inspect products against engineering specifications and quality standards, flagging deviations immediately
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate maintenance requests to minimize downtime
• Document test results, defects, and corrective actions in manufacturing systems and quality records
• Respond to production issues and work cross-functionally to implement solutions
• Support process improvements and validate changes through controlled testing
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to safety protocols

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience operating measurement or testing equipment (mechanical, electrical, or optical)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical specifications precisely
• Solid math skills for calculating tolerances and interpreting data
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, work instructions, and quality documentation
• Reliable attendance and flexibility with a second shift schedule
• Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn new processes
