What This Role Involves

As a Quality Test Technologist on the second shift, you'll be the frontline guardian of product quality and safety. Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Execute standardized testing protocols on manufactured components and assemblies using calibrated equipment
  • Inspect products against engineering specifications and quality standards, flagging deviations immediately
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate maintenance requests to minimize downtime
  • Document test results, defects, and corrective actions in manufacturing systems and quality records
  • Respond to production issues and work cross-functionally to implement solutions
  • Support process improvements and validate changes through controlled testing
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to safety protocols

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Experience operating measurement or testing equipment (mechanical, electrical, or optical)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical specifications precisely
  • Solid math skills for calculating tolerances and interpreting data
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, work instructions, and quality documentation
  • Reliable attendance and flexibility with a second shift schedule
  • Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn new processes
