About the Role
Freshpoint is hiring CDL A truck drivers for local delivery operations serving Barry Square and the greater Hartford County region. You'll operate commercial vehicles on established routes, delivering products to customers with professionalism and efficiency while maintaining our reputation for dependable on-time service.
What You'll Do
- Operate a Class A commercial truck on assigned local delivery routes throughout Barry Square and Hartford County
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns
- Safely load, secure, and unload freight following company and safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch and customers to manage delivery schedules and meet time commitments
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logbooks in accordance with DOT requirements
- Navigate early morning shifts starting between 12 AM and 4 AM
What We're Looking For
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A) with a clean driving record
- Minimum two years of professional driving experience in trucking or delivery services
- Comfort with early morning start times and ability to drive in varying weather conditions
- Strong commitment to safety practices and DOT compliance
- Dependable attendance and professional work ethic
- Solid communication and customer service skills
Compensation and Schedule
This role offers $65,000 to $78,000 annually, based on experience and performance, along with bonuses and incentive rewards. Select from two scheduling options: Tuesday through Saturday (Sunday and Monday off) or Monday through Friday (Sunday off with rotating Saturday assignments).
