About the Role

As Director of Sea Logistics Business Development, you will lead the expansion of our sea freight and shipping services across regional and national markets. This position combines business development strategy, client relationship management, and operational leadership to capture new opportunities in the competitive maritime logistics sector.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute business development strategies to increase market share in sea logistics and ocean freight services
• Identify, pursue, and close new customer accounts and partnerships across the Nashville region and beyond
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key shipping clients and logistics partners
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver customized maritime shipping solutions that meet complex customer requirements
• Analyze market trends and competitive positioning to uncover growth opportunities in ocean freight and sea transportation
• Collaborate with operations, sales, and service teams to ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence
• Monitor industry developments and regulatory changes affecting maritime shipping and international logistics

What We're Looking For

• Proven track record in business development, sales leadership, or logistics management, ideally with sea freight or maritime shipping experience
• Strong ability to identify and pursue high-value business opportunities in the transportation and logistics industry
• Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills with enterprise and mid-market clients
• Strategic thinking and P&L management experience at the director or senior manager level
• Knowledge of global supply chains, ocean freight services, or international shipping is a significant advantage
• Based in or willing to work in the Nashville, Davidson County area
