Contracts Manager

Join Saab as a full-time Contracts Manager based in Maple View, Oswego County. You'll lead contract lifecycle management for our Air Traffic Management and Defense business units, handling everything from proposal development through execution and ongoing modifications.

About the Role

This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by overseeing a broad contract portfolio across two of Saab's core business areas. You'll work with cross-functional teams to navigate complex contract negotiations, ensure compliance, and drive successful outcomes that support both internal stakeholders and external partners.

What You'll Do

• Manage the complete contract lifecycle—from initial proposal through negotiation, execution, and amendment management
• Review, analyze, and draft contract language to protect company interests while maintaining strong partner relationships
• Coordinate with procurement, legal, finance, and business teams throughout the contracting process
• Track contract modifications and ensure all changes are properly documented and executed
• Support the Air Traffic Management and Defense business units with contract strategy and execution
• Maintain organized contract records and provide documentation as needed for audits or compliance reviews

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience managing contracts in a professional or corporate environment
• Strong understanding of contract law, negotiation principles, and risk mitigation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—able to work effectively across departments and with external partners
• Detail-oriented approach to documentation and record-keeping
• Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Familiarity with defense or aerospace contract practices is a plus
