What You'll Do

• Support department leadership in planning, coordinating, and executing major educational initiatives and programs
• Oversee administrative operations, processes, and systems to ensure efficiency and compliance with state policy
• Manage departmental budgets, reporting, data analysis, and performance metrics
• Collaborate across teams to align programs serving mainstream schools, special education transition services, and dedicated educational facilities
• Prepare briefing materials, reports, and policy recommendations for executive leadership
• Ensure effective communication and coordination among department divisions and with external school district partners

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in public sector administration, educational leadership, or large-scale program management
• Strong organizational and project management skills with demonstrated ability to manage complex operations
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Proficiency with data analysis, budget oversight, and reporting systems
• Knowledge of Michigan education policy and school administration is a plus
