About the Role

As a Senior Human Resource Specialist, you'll manage a comprehensive portfolio of human resources functions serving federal operations and organizational goals. Your strategic expertise in staffing, recruitment, classification, and policy will directly shape how the organization attracts talent, manages employee relations, and maintains compliance with federal standards.

What You'll Do

• Lead staffing and recruitment efforts aligned with federal hiring requirements and competitive talent acquisition standards
• Manage position classification, job analysis, and compensation administration to ensure equity and regulatory compliance
• Oversee employee benefits programs, enrollment systems, and benefits guidance for eligible employees
• Develop, implement, and update human resources policies and employment practice guidelines
• Resolve complex employee relations and labor relations matters with strategic, compliant approaches
• Administer SES programs and specialized federal human resources functions
• Coordinate work-life programs, employee wellness initiatives, and engagement activities
• Maintain federal HR documentation, records, and reporting systems with accuracy and compliance

What We're Looking For

• Substantial professional experience as a Human Resource Specialist or equivalent HR professional role in federal government or federal contracting environments
• Mastery of federal human resources law, agency regulations, and compliance frameworks
• Demonstrated proficiency in staffing, classification, benefits administration, compensation, and employee relations
• Excellent communication abilities for managing sensitive employee relations and labor relations issues
• Ability to develop HR strategy, policy solutions, and organizational recommendations
• Experience with HRIS systems and standard HR technology platforms
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline
