About the Role
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is advancing its region build service through AI-driven automation and intelligent tooling. In this role, you'll architect and implement platform-level software systems that integrate agentic AI technologies into core cloud infrastructure operations. You'll lead technical strategy, guide engineering teams, and establish best practices for scalable, resilient systems at enterprise scale.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop platform solutions that integrate AI agents into OCI's region build automation
- Lead the architecture of scalable, distributed systems handling complex cloud infrastructure workflows
- Mentor and guide engineering teams on software design patterns, cloud architecture, and technical excellence
- Drive innovation in system performance, reliability, and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cloud infrastructure, AI, and DevOps teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Own technical decisions that shape the platform's evolution and competitive advantage
What We're Looking For
- Deep expertise in system architecture and large-scale distributed systems design
- Strong background with cloud platforms, particularly Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or equivalent
- Proven experience with software design principles, design patterns, and architectural decision-making
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor technical teams
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and experience integrating intelligent systems into production platforms
- Experience with infrastructure automation, cloud services, and DevOps practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional environments
