About the Role
As our Preventative Maintenance Technician, you'll play a critical role in supporting equipment uptime and operational safety. You'll perform scheduled maintenance services, conduct thorough inspections, and execute minor repairs on heavy equipment, trucks, and support machinery. This is a full-time position that combines hands-on technical work with attention to documentation and teamwork in both field and shop environments.
What You'll Do
- Execute routine preventative maintenance on heavy equipment, commercial trucks, and associated machinery according to established schedules
- Conduct systematic inspections to identify wear, damage, or potential issues before they impact equipment performance
- Perform minor repairs and component replacements to maintain operational efficiency
- Service and maintain PM trucks and organize work areas to support efficient operations
- Complete maintenance records and documentation to track service history and ensure compliance
- Assist senior technicians with more complex repairs and diagnostics
- Follow safety protocols and maintain equipment to the highest operational standards
What We're Looking For
- Experience with heavy equipment maintenance or a related mechanical trade
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to thorough, accurate work
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and maintenance schedules
- Reliable work ethic and willingness to collaborate with team members
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
