About the Role

In this position, you'll take ownership of commercial credit portfolios, focusing on risk management and strategic oversight of accounts with moderate to complex credit structures. You'll be responsible for analyzing, monitoring, and supporting the credit lifecycle while ensuring portfolio quality and compliance standards are met. This role is ideal for banking professionals ready to step into greater responsibility and decision-making authority in credit management.

What You'll Do

• Analyze and evaluate commercial credit applications and existing portfolio credits, assessing risk and recommending appropriate terms
• Monitor assigned credit relationships, reviewing financial statements, collateral documentation, and borrower performance
• Underwrite new and existing credit proposals, preparing recommendations for credit committees or appropriate approval authorities
• Manage the ongoing administration and documentation of commercial credit accounts
• Identify and escalate credit risk issues, working collaboratively to develop resolution strategies
• Support relationship managers and business teams in maintaining strong client partnerships and meeting institutional objectives

What We're Looking For

• Experience in commercial credit analysis, underwriting, or portfolio management within a financial institution
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with demonstrated ability to evaluate credit risk
• Knowledge of commercial lending products, underwriting standards, and credit risk frameworks
• Attention to detail and ability to manage complex documentation and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively across teams
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional banking experience
