About the Role
Penn Tank Lines is seeking experienced commercial drivers to operate tanker units for our local delivery operations. As a local tanker driver, you'll manage the safe transport and delivery of liquid cargo within regional routes, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and safety that our customers and company expect.
What You'll Do
- Operate a commercial tanker vehicle on assigned local routes
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain detailed logs
- Safely load, transport, and deliver liquid cargo in compliance with DOT regulations
- Communicate professionally with customers and dispatch regarding delivery status and special instructions
- Maintain clean records and adhere to hours-of-service requirements
- Contribute to a safety-first culture that protects you, your cargo, and the public
What We're Looking For
- Valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record
- Previous tanker or fuel hauling experience (preferred)
- Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
- Reliable, professional demeanor and solid communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively on local routes
