The United States Secret Service is recruiting a full-time Special Agent to join our field office in Bridgeville, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. About the Role

As a Special Agent with the US Secret Service, you'll work in the field conducting investigations, performing protective operations, and safeguarding national security. This is hands-on federal law enforcement work that combines intelligence gathering, fieldwork, and analytical problem-solving. You'll serve as a first responder to threats, vulnerabilities, and criminal activity in your jurisdiction and beyond.

What You'll Do

• Conduct investigations into counterfeiting, access device fraud, identity theft, and other federal crimes
• Perform protective operations and threat assessments for dignitaries, facilities, and national infrastructure
• Gather and analyze intelligence from field sources, surveillance, and investigative leads
• Prepare case reports, testify in court, and coordinate with federal, state, and local law enforcement partners
• Respond to emergencies and carry out enforcement actions under pressure and potentially dangerous conditions
• Maintain federal databases and investigative records with precision and attention to security protocols

What We're Looking For

• U.S. citizen between 21 and 37 years old (with possible age waiver for veterans)
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly
• High school diploma or GED (college coursework preferred)
• Ability to pass a Top Secret security clearance investigation, medical exam, and drug screen
• Strong physical fitness and ability to carry a firearm
• Sound judgment, integrity, and commitment to public service
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
