About the Role

As a Special Agent with the United States Secret Service, you'll conduct federal investigations, gather intelligence, and execute protective operations across multiple mission areas. This position is based in the Long Island field office serving Cumberland County and surrounding regions, where you'll work alongside experienced agents in one of the Service's critical operational areas.

What You'll Do

• Conduct criminal investigations related to counterfeiting, financial crimes, and identity theft
• Perform intelligence analysis and threat assessments to support protective missions
• Execute protective security operations for designated protectees and national events
• Develop and maintain confidential sources and investigative networks
• Prepare comprehensive investigative reports and evidence documentation
• Testify in federal court and present findings to prosecutors and other agencies
• Collaborate with federal, state, and local law enforcement partners
• Maintain active surveillance and undercover operational capabilities as assigned

What We're Looking For

• U.S. citizen between 21 and 37 years old at time of appointment
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance
• Pass extensive background investigation, medical examination, and drug screening
• Willingness to pass polygraph examination and psychological evaluation
• Excellent communication and investigative skills
• Physical fitness to meet federal law enforcement standards
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and on-call assignments
• Valid passport or ability to obtain one
