About the Role
As a Special Agent with the U.S. Secret Service, you'll work at the forefront of national security and law enforcement, investigating financial crimes, counterfeiting, identity theft, and other federal offenses. This is a full-time position where you'll develop expertise that defines your career in government service.
What You'll Do
- Conduct criminal investigations into counterfeiting, forgery, identity theft, and financial fraud
- Protect national leaders and dignitaries through coordinated intelligence and security operations
- Gather and analyze evidence, interview witnesses, and prepare cases for prosecution
- Collaborate with federal, state, and local law enforcement partners
- Maintain surveillance, conduct undercover operations, and manage sensitive sources
- Travel as needed for investigations and protective operations
What We're Looking For
- U.S. citizenship and valid state driver's license
- Between 21 and 37 years old at time of appointment
- Excellent physical and mental health; vision and hearing correctable to 20/20
- Top-secret security clearance eligibility
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional judgment and ethical conduct in all circumstances
- Willingness to relocate or travel frequently
