About the Role
As a Poker Event Dealer at Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood, you'll be at the center of the action—managing live poker games, interacting with players, and maintaining the integrity and flow of our gaming operations. You'll work in a fast-paced, dynamic casino environment where precision, professionalism, and customer focus matter every shift.
What You'll Do
- Deal cards and manage poker games according to house rules and gaming standards
- Collect and distribute chips, manage pots, and handle game transactions accurately
- Maintain table discipline and enforce game rules consistently
- Interact professionally with guests to create an engaging gaming experience
- Monitor game play and report irregularities to pit supervisors
- Execute precise card shuffling and dealing techniques
- Work assigned shifts in the poker room operations
What We're Looking For
- Prior experience dealing poker or other table games in a casino setting
- Strong knowledge of poker rules, hand rankings, and betting procedures
- Excellent math and cash handling skills
- Professional demeanor with strong customer service instincts
- Ability to maintain focus and composure during fast-paced gameplay
- Physical stamina for standing throughout your shift
- Communication skills and attention to detail
