About the Role

This is a full-time position where you'll lead the design, development, and optimization of agentic AI models for next-generation automotive system-on-chip platforms. You'll work in a dynamic, innovation-focused environment where technical excellence meets rapid iteration and real-world impact in the automotive industry.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement advanced agentic model architectures tailored for automotive SoC environments, balancing performance, efficiency, and real-time constraints
• Lead technical strategy and development initiatives across the AI modeling team, mentoring engineers and establishing best practices
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and system teams to integrate AI models into production automotive SoC designs
• Evaluate emerging agentic AI approaches and research developments, translating them into practical automotive applications
• Optimize model performance for embedded automotive systems, focusing on power efficiency, latency, and inference accuracy
• Contribute to architecture decisions that define how AI capabilities are embedded into future Renesas automotive platforms

What We're Looking For

• Proven expertise in large language models, agentic AI systems, or advanced machine learning model development
• Deep experience with system-on-chip design, embedded systems optimization, or automotive-grade AI deployment
• Strong background in leading technical projects and mentoring engineering teams
• Solid understanding of automotive industry requirements, safety standards, and real-time computing constraints
• Expertise in model optimization, quantization, and efficiency techniques for resource-constrained environments
• Experience with AI framework tooling, model deployment, and performance profiling
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
