Palo Alto Networks is hiring a Solutions Consultant for Enterprise Acquisition Sales to drive new client growth across Illinois and Wisconsin, based in Chicago, Illinois. This full-time position offers the opportunity to identify, cultivate, and close enterprise deals while serving as a technical and strategic advisor to Fortune 500 and mid-market organizations.

About the Role

As a Solutions Consultant in our Enterprise Acquisition Sales team, you'll own the relationship-building and deal-development process for high-value enterprise clients seeking security solutions. You'll blend consultative selling with technical understanding to position the right solutions for complex organizational needs, working closely with account executives to expand our footprint in the Illinois and Wisconsin markets.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and manage prospecting strategies to build a qualified enterprise pipeline
  • Conduct discovery meetings with C-suite, IT leadership, and security teams to understand organizational pain points and strategic initiatives
  • Design and deliver solution demonstrations and architectural recommendations tailored to enterprise requirements
  • Collaborate with technical and sales teams to craft compelling proposals and respond to RFPs
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with enterprise prospects and key stakeholders
  • Support deal progression through negotiation and close
  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline data and forecasting within CRM systems

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of enterprise sales experience, preferably in technology or security solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex organizational structures and multi-stakeholder buying processes
  • Strong technical acumen and ability to translate client requirements into solution recommendations
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with confidence speaking to executives
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • CRM proficiency (Salesforce experience a plus)
  • Willingness to travel within the territory as needed
