Attorney | Medical Malpractice Defense

Mission Recruiting is hiring a Medical Malpractice Defense Attorney for a full-time, hybrid position with a respected litigation defense firm in White Plains, New York. Work three days in the office and two days remotely while gaining mentorship and advancing your career alongside experienced defense litigators.

This medical malpractice defense practice represents healthcare providers, clinics, and hospitals in complex litigation matters. You'll work in a collaborative, supportive environment where experienced attorneys invest in your development, coaching, and career growth while building a strong defense practice rooted in professional excellence.

What You'll Do

• Defend healthcare providers in medical malpractice litigation from initial intake through resolution
• Conduct discovery, depositions, expert consultations, and trial preparation
• Research applicable law, analyze case strategy, and develop effective defenses
• Maintain client relationships and manage case timelines independently
• Collaborate with colleagues and specialists to build winning defense strategies
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Licensed to practice law in New York or eligible for admission
• Prior experience in litigation or legal defense (medical malpractice experience a plus)
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical capabilities
• Excellent verbal communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases with strict deadlines
• Interest in developing your practice in a mentorship-rich environment
