RN – Full Time PMs – SF Village

Good Samaritan is seeking a dedicated, full-time Registered Nurse (RN) for evening shifts at our Sioux Falls Village location in Alvord, Lyon County. Join a mission-driven not-for-profit organization committed to providing exceptional care and support to seniors.

About This Position

This full-time evening nursing role serves residents in our senior living community. You'll join a care team dedicated to supporting our residents' health, safety, and quality of life. Working 40 hours per week on the evening shift, you'll deliver skilled clinical care within a compassionate, faith-based environment that has served seniors with dedication for more than 100 years.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care and perform clinical assessments for residents
• Monitor resident health status and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments according to protocols and care plans
• Document nursing care, observations, and resident needs in medical records
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop individualized resident care plans
• Communicate effectively with residents' families and healthcare providers
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic living environment for residents
• Support the physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing of residents

Skills & Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Experience in senior care or nursing (preferred)
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Compassion and commitment to resident-centered care
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a dynamic care environment
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems
