Cooperstown Dreams Park is seeking a full‑time Photography professional to join our team in Milford, Otsego County, where you’ll capture game action, studio portraits, and special event images using provided equipment.

About the Role

This position supports the visual storytelling of Cooperstown Dreams Park’s sports tournaments, events, and promotional activities. You will work on‑site to produce high‑quality photographs that highlight athletes, families, and celebrations, contributing to the park’s reputation for memorable experiences.

What You'll Do

• Operate DSLR or mirrorless cameras to photograph games, studio sessions, and event gatherings
• Set up and break down photography stations, ensuring proper lighting and backdrop arrangement
• Transfer, organize, and back up image files securely after each shoot
• Perform basic image editing tasks such as color correction, cropping, and exposure adjustment
• Maintain photography equipment, including cleaning lenses, charging batteries, and checking gear functionality
• Collaborate with event staff to coordinate shoot schedules and deliver images in a timely manner
• Assist with occasional image processing requests, preparing photos for prints, digital galleries, or promotional use

What We're Looking For

• Comfortable working with computers and digital photo workflows
• Knowledge of image editing principles and software tools
• Strong eye for detail, composition, and consistent image quality
• Ability to handle equipment safely and lift up to 25 pounds when needed
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holiday periods as event schedules demand
• Good communication skills and a courteous demeanor when interacting with guests and participants
• Previous experience in sports, event, or portrait photography is advantageous but not required
