About the Role

As part of Paradigm’s service team, you will respond to resident requests, diagnose issues, and carry out repairs that keep the community safe, functional, and welcoming. Your work directly supports the property’s long‑term value and resident satisfaction.

What You'll Do

• Review and prioritize service tickets, then complete the associated repair or improvement tasks
• Perform electrical troubleshooting, wiring, fixture installation, and basic panel work
• Handle plumbing repairs including leak fixes, drain clearing, and fixture replacement
• Maintain HVAC systems by performing filter changes, coil cleaning, and minor component repairs
• Service kitchen and laundry appliances, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely
• Document completed work, update work orders, and communicate status to residents and supervisors
• Participate in preventive maintenance rounds to identify potential issues before they escalate
• Assist with move‑in and move‑out preparations, including unit inspections and touch‑up painting
• Adhere to safety protocols, use proper PPE, and keep tools and equipment in good condition

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a maintenance or service technician in multifamily housing or a comparable setting
• Solid understanding of electrical systems, plumbing fixtures, and HVAC basics
• Ability to read and follow work orders, schematics, and manufacturer guidelines
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a methodical approach to problem solving
• Excellent communication abilities for interacting with residents, coworkers, and management
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to various community locations
• Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and timely completion of tasks
• Flexibility to respond to after‑hours emergencies on a rotating basis as needed
