About the Role

As a Concrete Structures Superintendent, you will oversee day-to‑day construction activities on large‑scale infrastructure jobs, ensuring that concrete work is completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. This position reports to project management and collaborates closely with engineers, subcontractors, and craft crews.

What You'll Do

• Plan and coordinate concrete forming, reinforcement placement, pouring, curing, and finishing operations
• Interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules to develop detailed work sequences
• Monitor crew productivity, allocate labor and equipment, and adjust plans to maintain progress
• Enforce safety protocols, conduct daily toolbox talks, and investigate any incidents or near‑misses
• Perform quality inspections, verify compliance with project specifications, and address deficiencies promptly
• Maintain accurate daily logs, production reports, and change order documentation
• Liaise with design engineers, owners, and regulatory representatives to resolve technical issues
• Support procurement efforts by tracking material deliveries and managing on‑site storage

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a superintendent or foreperson on concrete‑heavy civil or structural projects
• Strong knowledge of formwork systems, reinforcing steel, placement techniques, and curing methods
• Ability to read and interpret complex construction drawings and specifications
• Excellent leadership skills with a track record of motivating diverse crews and subcontractors
• Commitment to safety excellence and familiarity with OSHA standards for construction
• Effective communication and problem‑solving abilities in fast‑paced environments
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites throughout the Southeast
