Summer Camp Administrator

Hi-Five Sports Club is seeking a Summer Camp Administrator to support its seasonal program in Mount Prospect, Cook County.

About the Role

This part‑time position runs for nine weeks during the summer camp season, with a Monday‑through‑Friday schedule. The administrator provides essential office support that keeps the camp running smoothly for staff, families, and leadership.

What You'll Do

• Answer incoming phone calls and respond to email inquiries from parents, staff, and vendors.
• Relay messages and important updates to camp managers and the club owner.
• Maintain and organize spreadsheets, attendance sheets, and other Excel‑based documents.
• Assist with scheduling, supply tracking, and other administrative tasks as needed.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with camper families regarding program details, policies, and day‑to‑day updates.
• Help make routine decisions that support camp operations, escalating issues when appropriate.

What We're Looking For

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially when interacting with parents and children.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet software for data entry and reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, seasonal environment.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality for a Monday‑Friday schedule.
• Previous experience in an office, camp, or youth‑program setting is a plus but not required.
• A friendly, patient demeanor and a passion for supporting youth activities.
