Benchmark Senior Living in Thornwood, is hiring a full-time Home Health Aide to provide compassionate, personalized care to our residents in a welcoming home environment. Earn a $500 sign-on bonus when you join our dedicated care team.
About the Role
As a Home Health Aide with Benchmark Senior Living, you'll support residents' daily needs while maintaining the dignity and independence that matter most to them. This full-time HHA position offers scheduling flexibility with available shifts Friday through Monday, 7am–3pm or 3pm–11pm.
What You'll Do
- Assist residents with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing
- Support safe mobility and transferring for residents
- Maintain clean, comfortable living spaces
- Respond attentively to residents' needs and requests
- Build meaningful relationships with residents and families
- Communicate progress and observations with the care team
What We're Looking For
- Valid New York State Home Health Aide certification
- Experience in residential care settings (preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Physical capability to assist and transfer residents safely
- Genuine dedication to resident comfort and wellbeing
- Dependable work ethic and collaborative spirit
