About the Role
As a Mixer Operator with Smyrna Ready Mix, LLC, you'll drive concrete mixer trucks to construction sites, commercial projects, and residential locations throughout the Clarksville area. You'll manage the delivery of ready mix concrete, maintain equipment, and represent our company through professional, safety-conscious work that our customers depend on.
What You'll Do
- Operate and maintain concrete mixer truck equipment during transport and on-site delivery
- Navigate delivery routes safely and efficiently to customer locations in Montgomery County and surrounding areas
- Coordinate with dispatchers and job-site supervisors to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Follow Department of Transportation regulations, safety protocols, and company procedures
- Monitor concrete consistency during delivery and make operational adjustments as needed
- Maintain professional communication with construction teams, contractors, and customers
What We're Looking For
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Clean driving record and demonstrated commitment to safety
- Full-time availability with flexibility for early mornings and overtime when needed
- Strong work ethic and reliability on the job
- Customer service orientation and professional demeanor
- Physical ability to perform job duties, including standing, lifting, and operating truck equipment
