About the Role

This full-time, on-site position is critical to our billing department, ensuring timely and accurate claim processing for non-Medicare patients. What You'll Do

• Process and submit insurance claims for non-Medicare home health services with precision and attention to detail
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and coverage information prior to service delivery
• Track claim status and manage follow-up with insurance carriers
• Handle claim denials and initiate appeals when necessary
• Maintain accurate, organized billing records and documentation
• Respond to billing inquiries from patients and insurance companies
• Ensure compliance with applicable billing regulations and internal procedures

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in medical billing, healthcare billing operations, or related administrative roles
• Proficiency with billing software systems and electronic health record platforms
• Strong organizational abilities with capacity to manage competing priorities
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in data handling
• Professional communication skills—written and verbal
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with team members
• Familiarity with non-Medicare insurance billing processes is preferred
