The role is based near Grand Central Terminal at 42nd Street and Park Avenue in Midtown Manhattan—the Metro-North hub (Harlem, Hudson, New Haven) and LIRR connection—so reverse-commutes from the northern metro and Long Island are practical. Expect dense Midtown office traffic and strong transit access rather than a campus setting.

Build the skills for this role

Useful strengths for this seat: legal-tech product sense, change management in professional services, vendor/RFI evaluation, data privacy and privilege awareness, and stakeholder communication with partners. No certification list was provided; prioritize portfolio evidence (pilots shipped, adoption metrics) over credentials.

Be ready to discuss how you ship innovation inside large law firms: governance, security review, attorney buy-in, and failed pilots. Prepare 1–2 examples of tools or process redesigns with measurable impact. Ask how Latham structures innovation ownership across practices and IT in New York.

Strong fit if you can operate in a high-end global firm, bridge lawyers and technologists, and drive adoption without inventing client work. Midtown non-remote pace and scale of a top multinational firm are core to the environment.
