About the Role
As Architecture and Portfolio Sales Specialist, you'll develop and execute sales strategies within the Americas region, focusing on Siemens's digital industries offerings. This role centers on consultative selling—understanding customer business challenges, architecting integrated solutions, and guiding enterprise accounts through complex buying cycles. You'll position our portfolio of digital technologies to drive sustainable progress and operational excellence for industrial and infrastructure customers.
What You'll Do
- Identify and qualify enterprise sales opportunities within assigned accounts and territories
- Develop comprehensive solution proposals that align Siemens's architecture and portfolio offerings with customer objectives
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and technical influencers
- Conduct needs assessments and translate customer requirements into tailored digital and architectural recommendations
- Present technical and business value propositions to C-level and mid-market executives
- Manage the sales pipeline, forecast activity, and drive deals through each stage of the sales cycle
- Collaborate with presales engineers, solution architects, and implementation teams to ensure customer success
- Represent Siemens at industry events and customer forums
What We're Looking For
- Proven success in enterprise B2B technology or software sales, preferably in industrial, manufacturing, or digital infrastructure sectors
- Strong understanding of systems architecture, digital transformation, or IoT concepts—or demonstrated ability to quickly master them
- Track record of building relationships and influencing decision-makers at all organizational levels
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfort discussing technical concepts with business stakeholders
- Consistent quota achievement and strong pipeline management experience
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across engineering, presales, and support functions
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional sales experience in enterprise software or solutions
