About the Role
We're hiring Graduate Nurses for full-time positions in our psychiatric inpatient setting. This role offers an exceptional entry point for nursing students approaching graduation who are ready to transition into clinical psychiatric practice. You can secure your position up to one year before your graduation date, ensuring a smooth pathway from nursing school to professional employment.
What You'll Do
- Deliver direct patient care in a psychiatric hospital environment under clinical supervision and mentorship
- Conduct patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and maintain comprehensive clinical documentation
- Partner with interdisciplinary psychiatric teams including physicians, therapists, counselors, and social workers
- Support medication administration and therapeutic interventions for patients with mental health conditions
- Foster safe, therapeutic environments and respond appropriately to behavioral health situations
- Educate patients and families about mental health treatment, recovery, and wellness strategies
What We're Looking For
- Current nursing student in good standing, graduating Fall 2026, Spring 2027, or Summer 2027
- Strong clinical foundation from nursing coursework with demonstrated patient care competency
