About the Role
As a Licensed Practical Nurse in primary care, you'll be the foundation of our clinical operations, supporting physicians and advanced practitioners while delivering direct patient care. This full-time position offers a Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday schedule, bringing continuity and stability to our patient population in the Groton area.
What You'll Do
- Obtain and record vital signs; document findings with accuracy and attention to clinical detail
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist physicians during clinical procedures
- Perform direct patient care activities under appropriate supervision
- Maintain precise, timely patient records in compliance with healthcare standards
- Support preventive health screenings and patient health education
- Keep the clinical environment safe, clean, and well-organized
- Work collaboratively with the care team to optimize patient experience and clinical outcomes
What We're Looking For
- Current, valid Connecticut Licensed Practical Nurse license
- Strong patient assessment and communication abilities
- Excellent documentation skills and commitment to clinical accuracy
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team-based setting
- Genuine compassion for patients and professional integrity
- Prior experience in primary care or ambulatory care settings preferred
