Maximus seeks a Registered Nurse Health Coordinator with Spanish and English fluency to join our team supporting the CDC INFO Call Center in a remote, full-time temporary role serving the Boston, Massachusetts area.
About the Role
As an RN Health Coordinator, you'll be the clinical voice answering urgent public health inquiries for the CDC INFO Call Center. You'll provide evidence-based guidance to callers on disease prevention and control, with specialized expertise in bioterrorism preparedness and first responder health protection. This remote position is temporary and full-time.
What You'll Do
- Respond to clinical health inquiries from the public and healthcare professionals with accuracy and clarity
- Provide authoritative information on disease prevention, disease control, and public health protocols
- Address specialized questions related to bioterrorism awareness and first responder safety
- Communicate complex public health information to callers with varying levels of medical knowledge
- Document all calls and interactions according to CDC standards and federal requirements
- Deliver bilingual support in English and Spanish to diverse caller populations
- Stay informed on current CDC guidance and emerging public health threats
What We're Looking For
- Current, active Registered Nurse license (RN) in good standing
- Fluent bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (verbal and written)
- Solid clinical knowledge base and strong healthcare communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive health conversations with professionalism and empathy
- Experience working independently in remote environments
- Familiarity with federal health systems and public health frameworks
- Reliable internet connection and a professional workspace for remote work
