About the Role
As a Certified Personal Trainer in our part-time position, you'll work directly with members to assess their fitness needs, design effective training programs, and guide them through progressive workouts. Your expertise and encouragement will empower clients to reach their health objectives while building positive relationships that extend their membership value.
What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive fitness assessments and establish personalized training objectives with each client
- Develop and implement customized workout programs aligned with individual goals and fitness levels
- Demonstrate proper exercise technique and form to maximize results and prevent injury
- Monitor client progress, celebrate achievements, and modify programming as needed
- Provide guidance on exercise selection, rep ranges, and training intensity
- Foster accountability and motivation to help clients sustain long-term fitness commitments
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive atmosphere throughout the facility
What We're Looking For
- Current certification from an accredited personal training organization (NASM, ACE, ISSA, or equivalent)
- Genuine passion for fitness and commitment to helping others transform their health
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to train clients across all ages, experience levels, and fitness backgrounds
- Knowledge of exercise physiology, proper form, and injury prevention strategies
- Professional, reliable approach to scheduling and client interactions
- Valid CPR/AED certification preferred
